About the Role
The Project Assistant plays a critical execution-support role for Huemor’s Projects team. This position is responsible for maintaining project organization, ensuring tasks move forward on schedule, supporting QA and content execution, and reinforcing communication and documentation standards across active build projects.
What You’ll Do
- Own Build board organization and operational hygiene in ClickUp, ensuring tasks are properly scoped, assigned, prioritized, and aligned to project roadmaps, with clear visibility into progress, milestones, and blockers.
- Proactively manage task flow by following up on stalled or at-risk work, capturing decisions and context in ClickUp, translating meetings into actionable next steps, and prompting team members when approvals, inputs, or documentation are missing.
- Support quality and delivery readiness by performing visual QA, validating acceptance criteria, ensuring all build components are accounted for prior to launch, and assisting with backlog QA cleanup during high-volume periods.
- Provide hands-on build support as needed, including content injection, light build fixes, cleanup, and module adjustments, while flagging risks, inconsistencies, or gaps early to protect delivery quality.
- Maintain cross-project and cross-team visibility by surfacing risks and dependencies to the Build Lead and Program Operations, tracking handoffs across SEO, QA, and Support teams, and ensuring Build-to-Support documentation and post-launch tasks are complete to enable smooth transitions and prevent post-launch gaps.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills and experience working in project management tools, with ClickUp preferred.
- Excellent written communication and documentation abilities, high attention to detail, and strong quality standards.
- Proactive in identifying issues and following up independently and are comfortable working across developers, QA, project managers, and leadership.
- Familiar with website builds, CMS platforms such as WordPress, and digital workflows.
Nice to have experience
- Visual QA processes
- Basic front-end or CMS experience
- Agency or multi-project environments
- Understanding of website launch and post-launch workflows
- Ability to work within Eastern Time Zone
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Build boards are clean, current, and accurate at all times.
- Fewer deadlines are missed due to early risk identification.
- QA consistency improves and rework is reduced.
- Documentation and handoffs are clear and smooth.
- The Build Lead and development team gain increased focus time and delivery velocity.
